Quality is a measure of excellence or a state of being free from defects, deficiencies, and significant variations, brought about by the strict and consistent adherence to measurable and verifiable standards to achieve uniformity of output that satisfies specific customer or user requirements.
At PEG, our quality assurance program involves the detailed planning and implementation of systematic series of activities designed to fulfill defined quality requirements and assure confidence. Our quality assurance meets three distinct criteria; namely,
- Compliance with the approved plans.
- compliance with generally accepted safety policies, regulations and procedures.
- and compliance with owner defined requirements.
During construction, PEG’s field staff visits and inspects the work performed by the contractor. The contractor’s progress is regularly monitored to ensure compliance with the contract documents. This is an essential part of protecting the owner’s interests and making sure that the completed work meets the highest industry standards.
Various types of tests are administered during construction to augment field site observations. These tests are relied upon to verify the quality of construction and to ensure compliance with contract documents. Some of the tests include; water flood tests, air tightness testing, and membrane and coating adherence tests.
